School Counseling

At times, personal and social issues may have an impact on classroom performance. In these cases, Counseling Services are provided to help students develop strong social skills, learn how to get along with others, make good decisions, control aggression and anger, and accept responsibility for their behavior. Our School Counselor guides students through this process using conflict resolution, social interaction, and decision-making skills. Among other interventions, the counselor runs social skills groups, conflict resolution workshops, and provides occasional presentations in the classroom.
